Welcome Kyla Byers to the Team!

Have you met our Senior Finance Manager, Kyla Byers? If not, it’s time to give her a warm welcome to our team, and three cheers to all she’s made possible since coming on board! Kyla joined ACLT part-time in 2025, and has transitioned to full-time this year. In her short time at the organization, she has already built transformational systems, guided the organization through financial strain by building scenario plans with staff and Board, and is leading us through the financing of a major capital project. We are so lucky to have her on our team, and can’t wait to see all that is possible under her leadership!

Kyla serves as ACLT’s Senior Finance Manager, bringing with her a decade of hands-on finance and operations experience as the founder/owner of a local farm-to-table grocery delivery company. Having navigated both the joys and challenges of running a small business, she is honored to bring her experience to the team and support entrepreneur development in the Anchorage community. She is especially excited to come full circle in her work with ACLT— not only was she a recipient of business assistance through Set Up Shop, but her very first connection to the organization was through an AmeriCorps VISTA position nearly two decades ago! In her free time, Kyla can be found playing outside, dancing kizomba, or hanging with her pup, Roscoe, at the dog park.
