CEO Sabbatical and Interim Leadership

Anchorage Community Land Trust (ACLT) CEO Kirk Rose will begin a 90-day sabbatical starting Friday, June 27, marking a meaningful pause in service to rest, reflect and restore. This planned time away is part of our long-term commitment to sustainable leadership and organizational resilience.

During this period, leadership duties will be held jointly by Cat Taylor and Emily Cohn, who will serve as interim co-CEOs. Their combined 20 years of experience and shared vision will provide steady guidance as ACLT continues delivering on its mission. In addition, ACLT will receive transition support from its Board of Directors, as well as the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association. Following the sabbatical, Kirk will ease back into service with an intentional reentry plan that supports care and continuity.
